Zircon

Zircon is a natural gemstone and comes in a variety of colours.  It should not be be confused with cubic zirconia - a synthetic commonly used as a diamond simulant.  The high refractive index of zircon gives it great fire and brilliance as a cut gemstone.  In the middle ages, zircon was said to aid sleep, bring prosperity, and promote honor and wisdom in its owner.

    Range of colour available in natural unheated Australian zirconNatural zircon from our mine generally ranges in colour from clear through to champagne and orange-red colours. Some of our cut gems have been gently heated to produce a diamond-like clear colour with great brilliance (low temperatures only, no chemicals), others are fully natural with no enhancement treatments.
