About our mine

Aussie Sapphire operated a medium sized commercial sapphire mine on our farm at Glen Innes in northern NSW, Australia.  Sapphire mining in Australia is a mechanised process using large excavators and mining plants to extract and process the sapphire wash.Mining ceased in 2009 after 32 years of operation, there are now no mines operating on the Reddestone Creek.

We hold the last almost extinct stock of the famous Reddestone Blue Sapphire, ask us for your piece of history before its to late!
