Privacy Notice

Our privacy policy is quite simple we will never sell, share or give away your email address or personal details for any commercial reason.

Personal information and Privacy Policy

We occasionally send emails with information on special offers, new products and other items of interest to our customers. When registering your account, you may choose to go on our mailing list in order to receive these emails. If you later change your mind, just contact us with a "remove from mailing list" request and we will immediately remove your email details from our mailing list.

Alternatively, login to your account and change your newsletter preference. In short, we hate spam as much as you do so your email address is safe with us. If you choose not to receive our email newsletters, you can still keep in touch with the latest developments at Aussie Sapphire by checking our facebook page, online forum and blog.

Personal information collected during the registration process is not shared with any other party and is protected via our security certificate encryption. You may review, alter or delete any information at any time by logging into your account and making the required changes. We collect personal information only to the extent required to process your order and it will not be shared with anyone. The only exception to this is in case of fraud investigation where information may be provided to relevant authorities upon legal request.

Security Concerns

We understand that you want to feel that your personal details and credit card information is safe when dealing with Aussie Sapphire. Rest assured that we take these concerns very seriously and we use industry standard measures to keep your details safe. You may use your credit card either directly or via PayPal - in both cases, we never see your credit card details which are submitted via encrypted and secure gateways.

NB: we do not store your credit card details in our database. Personal details (address, phone, etc) are stored in our database so we can fulfil your order - this information is protected by the encryption provided by our security certificate.

Our merchant facility is with the National Australia Bank using NSIPS - a secure gateway for internet payments. The most significant aspect of NSIPS design is the security mechanism that greatly improves security and privacy of credit card payment transactions conducted over the Internet. NSIPS uses industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL 3.0) encryption technology to secure communication sessions with customers and merchants. Using firewalls in front of the Payment Gateway (N-SIPS) and within the system, it restricts access to information regarding the payment transactions.

When paying in this way, you will be temporarily redirected to our bank payment gateway so you can submit your details in a secure environment - when the payment has been completed, you will be returned to this website. By using this method, your credit card details are kept safe. The PayPal payment method is similar where card details are not submitted directly to us but are processed within the secure servers of PayPal.

While using your credit card in this way is extremely safe, we can offer a number of offline payment methods for those customers who prefer not to pay online. By selecting the offline payment options, you will receive instructions on how to submit your credit card details to us by fax or mail, or directly transfer your payment using wire transfer (direct deposit or telegraphic transfer).

When paying in this way, simply complete the checkout process and select either the Bank Deposit or Offline Payment options - click here if you require our Offline Payment Order Form.

If you have any concerns or questions about our privacy and security policy or if you would like to ask about alternative payment methods, please contact us.
