LORTONE 45C Tumbler - 2kg Capacity- Single Barrel TUMBLER
Includes 1kg stainless steel pins (1.1 x 10mm) and 250 grams MP103 burnishing compound.

This package is for the reloader who only needs to do small batches of brass.  We have larger tumblers but this is a good choice for those who dont need the larger capacity.  You would normally run approx 750 to 1000 grams of pins in this size of barrel.  If you wish to add an additional kilogram of MP103, please use the option above.

The barrel interior dimensions are approximately 5 3/4" diameter x 3 3/8" depth (140 x 90mm). Total volumetric capacity of this 4 pound barrel is 1.5 litres - effective capacity is usually around 2/3 of this size.

The Lortone water-tight seal lid system means no leaks or mess.

This tumbler has a 220 Volt electric motor to suit the Australian power supply.  Note that most USA suppliers charge extra for 220V so please keep this in mind when comparing prices.

The Lortone 45C Tumbler features a single 4 pound moulded rubber barrel for those who need a bit more capacity than the 3A tumbler offer.   The barrel is 10-sided on the inside to assist with the tumbling action.

Your cases will look like new

By: on 30 September 2022
I've been using Aussie Sapphire's tumbler since 2014 to clean 32S&W long, 9MM, 38/357, 223 and 30-30 cases. After cleaning, my cases look new. The primer pockets and case interiors are also cleaned during the process. Yes it's a bit messy, but I use the dirty water to feed the plants. I ran out of burnishing compound several years ago and just use the pins, detergent and some lemon juice or powdered citric acid for the same result (but not a lot of savings to be honest). Sold my vibrating tumbler as I won't go back to a less than perfect finish. The drive belt worked its way loose after a couple of hundred hours of use but I tightened it up and the tumbler has been running without any problems since. It's nice to see a fine organization like Aussie Sapphire supporting the law abiding reloading community. Keep up the good work guys. Hope the kids appreciate this tumbler when I'm gone as I know it will outlast me.
