The TS10 is a 10" heavy duty trim saw from Lortone and is an excellent quality piece of machinery. Depth of cut is 3 inches or 75mm.
It features an all new stainless steel base for smooth working across the table. The work table has a 14-1/4" x 16-5/8" work surface and centered blade. Stainless construction means no rust problems although we still recommend emptying the tank after use. You will require almost 2 litres of coolant in the tank when using this saw - we can advise if you are unsure what to use or use the option above to add a 4L bottle of cutting oil.
We recommend a suitable cutting oil in this size of saw. If you choose to use water, we recommed adding a coolant concentrate but oil will perform better.
Includes a sealed ball bearing arbor, arbor pulley, 5/8" steel shaft, splash shield, and blade guard, Motor and quality sintered continuous rim blade blade.

Terrific trim saw!By: Shane on 15 September 2020I recently bought the TS10 trim saw along with the perspex hood, sliding vise, and a container of Rockhound oil. The saw runs smoothly, the perspex hood takes care of stray oil spatter without diminishing control/visibility of the stone being cut, and the 10" Auscut blade is doing a great job on the agates I'm currently slabbing. I'm using straight Rockhound oil as the coolant and find it works better than the kero/oil mix used by my local lapidary club, with the added benefit of it being virtually odourless and much safer in general. No regrets with this purchase, wish I'd done it years ago. Thanks for the quick delivery!
