NOTE: this saw is produced exclusively for Aussie Sapphire and has some advantages over the standard tile saw found in most hardware shops - the slot on the saw table is thinner making it safer to hand trim small rough and the shaft size is 5/8" in contrast to the more standard 22.2mm (7/8") which gives you more choice in blade type.

Great saw, great service
By: Richard on 3 December 2024I bought this saw to cut up natural whetstones of 3-5 Mohs hardness. Though pretty soft they are sedimentary, a little brittle, and prone to fracturing along layer cracks. With the 0.032" electroplated blade I have had no mishaps and no chipping along the edge of cuts, even with fairly ambitious thin cuts. Very pleased with this saw, and with the efficient and friendy service I got from the Aussie Sapphire team. Thumbs up!
