The Auscut AS-6x6 is an Aussie Sapphire product - proudly assembled and tested in our own workshop using local and imported parts. Manufactured exclusively for us to our design and specifications.
Proven design using CNC manufacturing to produce the full Stainless Steel frame with consistent quality of all parts. All assembly and test running is carried out in our workshop giving us another quality control point.
FEATURES:
- 6 individually controlled stainless water taps fed from a separate stainless steel 4 litre water tank (included).
- Full stainless steel construction with a precision machined 3/4” shaft that is tapped on both ends for 1/4-20 spin-on end plates for the Left or Right hand side.
- Sealed for life flex mount bearings are fitted for reduced noise and vibration.
- The removable top cover has the water kit installed with quality taps and fittings. Drainage hose is included - you will need to supply a bucket to drain into.
- 1/2 hp motor (230 Volt) with Australian 3 pin plug.
- Fitted with 6 x Auscut 6" diamond wheels - 2 hard and 4 soft.
- Includes one Right Hand end plate with felt polishing pad and 100 grams of cerium oxide polish.
The AS-6x6 unit comes complete with motor, quality cogged drive belt, belt guard and taper lock motor pulley. The motor is shipped separately for safe transit and will need to be fitted when unpacked (see our set up video).
The machine is fitted with 6 diamond wheels (150 mm) ready to go - two hard wheels (#80 and #220) and four soft wheels (#280, #600, #1200 and #3000). Auscut soft wheels are fitted by default - you may upgrade to REZ or Nova wheels at additional cost.
Auscut diamond wheels are proven in the field and have the same hub width as Nova wheels so are completely interchangeable with either genuine Novas or Cabking wheels . This means you can change wheels on your machine at any time without having to modify spacers.
The package also includes a Right Hand aluminium end plate with rubber and felt pad for polishing - 100 grams cerium oxide is included.
All you need to do is bolt the motor on, secure the machine and water tank to a bench and start cabbing.
Footprint of the machine is 67cm wide and 57 cm deep - allow room on the right hand side for polishing.
Mount on a suitable workbench with access to a power point - use the included clamps to secure it to the bench.
The motor is not fitted with an on/off switch. We recommend running the motor through a surge-protected power board with individual switches - this adds another layer of protection to the motor and allows you to mount the power board in a convenient location.
